Jennifer Garner hinted at a ’90s trend when shopping in Santa Monica, California.
The actress accompanied her 12-year-old daughter, Seraphina, on Monday. While the duo were shopping, Garner went casual with touches of ’90s trends by wearing a floral midi skirt and teaming it with a simple navy cotton t-shirt. The midi style has exploded over the decade and recently made a resurgence, among many other trends of the 90s and early 2000s. She added a white wristwatch and hot pink mask to the look and left her brown locks.
Like many of her other outings, the “13 Going on 30” star stepped out in comfy but cute sneakers. The Prada sneakers, currently out of stock, featured a navy upper with white laces and a white wrap and rubber sole. The sneakers also featured a red and white Prada logo on the back of the shoe.
Garner is a big fan of sneakers, and his go-to shoes are selections from Brooks, including the brand’s Ghost 13 and Levitate 4 Road shoes. Some see her style as the epitome of a “cool mom” look, with outfits often including a mix of mom jeans and skinny jeans topped with soft sweaters, easygoing tees and relaxed blouses. She also changes it up with Canadian suits, overalls, flannels and sweatshirts. When not in her typical denim, Garner also sports athletic outfits such as classic leggings. When the actress does make a red carpet appearance, she tends to go high fashion in heels from Jimmy Choo and Sophia Webster among other luxury designers.
While the exact shoe Garner wears isn’t available, shop for these navy sneakers for a similar look.
