The seasons have officially crossed from spring to summer, and Kendall Jenner is leading the way when it comes to transitional attire.
The model was spotted out in West Hollywood yesterday wearing an outfit that showed off her minimalist yet classic style off duty. Jenner opted for a plain black camisole, which she paired with a denim midi skirt from The Row and a pair of black loafers. For accessories, she carried a large black tote bag, also from The Row, as well as a bright orange wallet from Hermès. She completed the ensemble with rectangular shades in black.
During an outing in Los Angeles earlier this week, Jenner wore another summer-worthy ensemble, trying her hand at the coastal granny aesthetic.
The 818 Tequila founder brought a sexy twist to the burgeoning style movement, wearing a tiny gray tank top and floral bikini top under a sky blue button-down by Almina Concept. She finished the look with powder yellow shorts from Aritzia, which she wore with the waist dropped, along with black Adidas sneakers, black sunglasses and a large black tote bag.
In case you missed the memo, TikToker @lexnicoleta coined “coastal grandma” fashion in a video posted in late March.
“What is Coastal Granny, you ask?” she explains in the clip. “It’s a term I coined for this aesthetic: if you like Nancy Meyers movies, coastal vibes, recipes and cooking, Ina Garten, cozy interiors, etc., chances are that you’re a coastal grandmother. And, no, you don’t have to be a grandmother to be a coastal grandmother.”
